Description
American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift CT Technologist with 2+ years of CT experience and ARRT certification for a 13-week assignment in Lawton, OK.
Details
- Night shift, 3x10 hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 8:00 AM, Thursday through Saturday
- Includes weekend coverage
- 265-bed regional referral center providing services across virtually every medical specialty
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years CT Tech experience required
- ARRT certification required
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Prepare patients for exams, explain procedures, take medical histories, and monitor patients during scans
- Set up and operate CT scanners, maneuvering equipment and adjusting technical parameters for optimal image quality
- Administer contrast dye intravenously or orally to enhance imaging visualization
- Follow strict radiation safety protocols including use of shielding devices
- Collaborate closely with radiologists to confirm image quality and assist in emergency and trauma situations
- No more than 5 days of RTO can be requested
- Local candidates within 50 miles may be considered at a reduced rate
- Former direct employees of the facility are not eligible to return through an agency until 6 months after their direct employment ended
