Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with cath lab experience and fluoroscopy certification for a 13-week assignment in a cardiac catheterization unit.

Details

Cardiac Catheterization unit setting
4x10 shifts, 06:30-17:00
Call coverage required with 24-hour availability on Saturdays and Sundays, must report within 30 minutes of a page
On-call coverage required at least 9 shifts per month
Uses C-Arm machine for procedures

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of cath lab experience required
ARRT certification required, NJ license preferred
Fluoroscopy certification required
License required if applicable
Experience with routine lead maintenance
Skills encompassing RCIS scope preferred
Experience assisting in cath procedures and PCIs
Experience inserting Impella and balloon pump devices
Experience scrubbing for IR procedures including nephrostomy tube insertion, PICC insertion, permacath insertion, pacemaker insertion, and cerebral thrombectomy

Additional Information

Perform cath lab and electrophysiology procedures including PCIs, device insertions, and IR procedure assistance
DCI/BVP workplace violence prevention certification may be completed via Relias, Healthcare Staffing Hire, or a free CDC resource
