Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced PACU RN for a 13-week acute care assignment requiring ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications along with an active CA RN license.

Details

Work in the PACU/Pre-op/Recovery/GI Lab unit of an acute care hospital
Level III trauma center setting
ICU patients may recover in the PACU
10-hour day shifts
Every other weekend required
Call requirement
Uses Cerner EMR
Philips telemetry equipment
Respiratory Therapy and Pharmacy coverage available 24/7
No IV team support

Requirements

Active CA RN license (Standard or Compact) currently in hand, no pending licenses accepted
Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS
Minimum 2 years of recent experience required
Active certifications must be submitted as copies, pending certifications not accepted

Additional Information

Provide perioperative nursing care across pre-op, PACU, and recovery phases
Holiday coverage required for 2 of the 3 major holidays
Navy scrub color required
12 hours of orientation provided
