Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 2 years of ER experience and TNCC certification.

Details

• 67-bed Emergency Department with a 4:1 patient ratio
• Day shift team includes 1 supervisor, 1 charge nurse, multiple techs, 1 CNA, and 19 RNs; night shift mirrors this staffing
• 13-week assignment with a 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM shift schedule
• On-call as needed

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• 2 years of recent ER experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, and CPI
• Meditech EMR experience preferred
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Must remain flexible with ever-changing ER acuity and census
• Navy scrubs required
• No visible tattoos permitted and hair longer than shoulder length must be pulled back
• No gel or acrylic nails permitted
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
