Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and ARRT CT and BLS certification for a short-term acute care hospital setting.

Details

• Short-term acute care hospital with 147 staffed beds
• Day shift, 4x10 hours, Tuesday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Daily caseload of approximately 58 patients
• Weekend coverage required
• Possible on-call requirement
• Floating is limited to the assigned hospital or a nearby affiliate
• Cerner EMR used for charting

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience required
• ARRT CT and BLS certification required
• Florida license required if applicable
• Cerner charting experience preferred
• Skilled in Abdomen and Pelvis, Chest, Head and Neck, and Spine/Musculoskeletal CT imaging
• Experience with isolation precautions, contrast media preparation and administration, and radiation safety required
• Experience starting peripheral IVs required
• Experience with brain perfusion and vascular CTA required
• Familiarity with Siemens CT equipment preferred

Additional Information

• Perform CT imaging across abdomen/pelvis, chest, head/neck, and spine/musculoskeletal regions
• Work within adult acute care, emergency department, ICU, and Level I trauma settings
• Navy blue scrubs required
• COVID-19 vaccination required, with medical or religious exemptions accepted
• First-time travelers are accepted for this position
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
• Former BayCare employees must wait at least 12 months before returning as a traveler
• No RTO included in contract; RTO requests may be discussed during interview
