Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab RN for a Days position in Pontiac, MI, requiring 2 years of cath lab experience and an active MI RN license.
Details
- Work in the Cath Lab/IR unit of a Level II trauma hospital
- Adult-geriatric patient population
- Uses Paragon EMR
- Days shift with scheduled hours between 6:30am-7pm, in combinations of (5) 8's, (4) 10's, or (2) 8's with (2) 12's
- On-call requirement of 7-11 days with one full weekend of coverage each month
Requirements
- Active MI RN license required at time of submission
- Compact license not accepted
- Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of cath lab experience required
- Previous travel experience preferred
Additional Information
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to maintain professional nursing practice standards
- Follow medical center policies and regulatory guidelines in daily practice
- Facility-provided procedural scrubs required; no outside clothing such as sweatshirts or long sleeve shirts allowed in the procedure room
- Candidates within a 35-mile radius of the facility are considered local travelers and subject to a reduced pay rate
- No more than 5 days of requested time off (RTO) permitted during the assignment
