Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a night shift position requiring at least 1 year of ICU experience and ACLS/NIHSS certification.

Details

• Work in the Intensive Care Unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 1900-0730
• Weekend requirement: 7 weekends in 8 weeks
• Uses Epic charting system
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
• May be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift

Requirements

• Active RN license (Single State or Compact), CO or compact license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (AHA-issued, not expiring prior to start)
• Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required
• ASN required; BSN preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred

Additional Information

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, including health teaching and counseling
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans
• Returning staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
