Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Operating Room position requiring KY or compact RN license, ACLS, NIHSS, and two years of EPIC experience.
Details
- Surgical Services unit within an operating room setting
- Day shift schedule from 06:30-19:00, three days per week
- Includes one 7pm-11pm call shift per week
- 36 hours per week on a 12-hour shift schedule
Requirements
- Active KY or compact RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- NIHSS certification required
- Minimum two years of acute care RN experience required
- Minimum two years of EPIC EMR experience required
- Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required
Additional Information
- Provide safe, effective, patient and family-centered care with a focus on quality outcomes
- Assess, develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care
- Supervise and delegate tasks to licensed and non-licensed staff members
- Serve as a mentor and preceptor to other staff
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and participate in quality, safety, and service improvement initiatives
- Facilitate patient and family education throughout the course of care and at discharge
