Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with 2+ years of hospital experience and GE/Siemens equipment proficiency for a Level III trauma center position.

Details

• Short-term acute care Level III trauma center with 252 staffed beds, part of Yale New Haven Health System
• 5x8 Day (8:30 AM-5:15 PM) or Evening (2:45 PM-11:15 PM) shifts as needed
• Every weekend work required
• Will be required to float between Lawrence and Memorial Hospital (CT) and Westerly Hospital (RI)
• Uses GE Optima CT660 scanners
• GE and Siemens equipment used
• Charting via Epic

Requirements

• Minimum 1.5-2 years of hospital CT experience required
• ARRT (CT), ARRT (R), and BLS certification required
• GE and Siemens equipment experience required
• Epic experience required
• Community, Level I, and Level II trauma hospital experience preferred
• Skills in 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and region of interest measurement preferred
• Experience with CT procedures including abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine, chest, and vascular studies
• Experience with special procedures such as biopsies, brain perfusion, CT colonography, and vascular CTA preferred
• Skilled in peripheral IV insertion and venipuncture preferred
• Must apply for required state license(s) prior to submission; license required if applicable
• 1 professional reference required

Additional Information

• Perform CT imaging across adult and pediatric outpatient, emergency department, and ICU settings
• Candidates will need both CT and RI state licensure, and may begin work once either license is issued while the other is pending
• Free parking available
• Flu vaccine required with no declinations accepted
• COVID vaccine and booster required with religious/medical exemptions only
• Up to 7 days of RTO can be auto-approved
• Former staff must be separated from the facility for at least 2 years to be eligible as a traveler
• Local candidates accepted only if residing at least 50 miles from the facility
• First-time travelers may be considered
