Description

American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift RN for a Telemetry unit requiring recent cardiac telemetry experience and a KS or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the Telemetry Unit (Cardiac 4N) of a hospital setting
• 12-hour night shifts from 19:00-07:30, 3 shifts per week
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required to all acute care units
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active KS or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year recent Telemetry experience required
• Experience with TR Bands immediately post-procedure required
• Experience with cardiac drips such as Heparin, Butamax, Lasix, and Cardizem required
• Experience with Tikosyn/Sotalol initiation process required
• 2-5 years of Telemetry experience preferred
• New graduates will not be considered

Additional Information

• Provide telemetry nursing care within a cardiac unit
• Holiday coverage required for 2 of the 3 major holiday groups: Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, and New Year's Eve/Day
• Facility is nicotine-free
• Orientation includes onsite and virtual Epic training during the first week
• Local and travel candidates accepted at the same bill rate
