American Traveler is hiring an experienced ED RN for a night shift position at a rural acute care hospital, requiring 5+ years of experience and occasional charge responsibilities.

• Night shift schedule from 1800-0600
• Occasional charge nurse shifts required

Requirements

• Active NM or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 5 years of RN experience required
• Ability to triage patients safely, rapidly, and accurately
• Ability to prioritize care based on physical and psychosocial needs and patient flow factors
• Ability to respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or treatment response

Additional Information

• Provide direct and indirect patient care in the emergency department
• Work with initiative, flexibility, and professional responsibility under minimal supervision
• Communicate with ED physicians regarding changes in patient status, symptoms, and diagnostic results
