Description

American Traveler is hiring a RN - Telemetry/Stepdown nurse for a 32-bed Intermediate Care Unit requiring 1+ years of progressive care experience and a CO or compact RN license.

Details

• 32-bed Intermediate Care Unit within a hospital setting
• Manages drips and more acute progressive/intermediate care patients
• Night shift, 1900-0730, 3 shifts per week (36 hours)
• Weekend shifts required
• On-call requirements to be discussed during interview
• May be required to float to other departments based on business need
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• Active RN License - Single State, Compact, or CO license required
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• ACLS (AHA) certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in the specialty
• ASN required; BSN preferred
• Certifications must not expire prior to start date

Additional Information

• Performs independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards
• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for patients
• Performs health teaching, counseling, and monitors therapy/treatment plans
• Documents care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
