Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT & X-Ray Technologist with ARRT(R) and ARRT(CT) certification and at least 3 years of experience for a weekend shift assignment.

Details

Diagnostic imaging department performing both CT and X-Ray examinations
13-week assignment with 36 guaranteed hours
Shift schedule is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
No call requirements

Requirements

ARRT registry graduate with ARRT(R) and ARRT(CT) certifications
Current BLS/BCLS certification
Minimum of 3 years of experience required
Active state license required if applicable
Ability to lift and move patients with or without assistance and maneuver equipment weighing 20 pounds or more
Manual dexterity to operate imaging equipment
Ability to work independently and adapt to emergency situations

Additional Information

Perform CT and X-Ray examinations including producing radiographs, evaluating exposure and positioning, scheduling exams, and instructing patients on exam preparation
Set up and organize imaging rooms for radiographic procedures
Reports directly to the Imaging Services Manager
Requires strong communication skills with patients, families, physicians, and staff while maintaining patient confidentiality
Must be able to problem-solve and adapt to continually changing conditions
