Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT/X-Ray Technologist with ARRT(R) and ARRT(CT) certification and a minimum of 3 years experience.

Details

Diagnostic imaging department performing CT and X-Ray examinations
4x10 hour shifts, 10:00 AM-9:00 PM, Monday-Thursday
No call requirement

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years experience required
ARRT(R) and ARRT(CT) certifications required
BLS certification required
Graduate with ARRT Registry
Active state license required if applicable
Ability to lift and move patients and maneuver equipment weighing 20 pounds or more
Manual dexterity to operate imaging equipment
Visual and hearing acuity to receive feedback from patients

Additional Information

Perform CT and X-Ray examinations, evaluate films for proper exposure and positioning, schedule exams, instruct patients on exam preparation, and set up procedure rooms
Reports directly to the Imaging Services Manager
Requires strong communication skills with patients, families, physicians, and staff
Must maintain patient confidentiality and provide quality, sensitive patient care
Ability to work independently, adapt to emergency situations, and make sound judgment calls
