Description

American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift RN for a Telemetry position requiring KS or compact RN licensure and recent cardiac telemetry experience.

Details

• Work in the Telemetry Unit (4N Cardiac) of a hospital setting
• Cares for cardiac telemetry patients, including those with TR Bands straight from procedure
• Uses cardiac drips such as Heparin, Bumetanide, Lasix, and Cardizem
• Experience with the Tikosyn/Sotalol initiation process utilized
• 12-hour night shifts from 19:00-07:30, three shifts per week
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required to all acute care units
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active KS or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry experience required
• 2-5 years of Telemetry experience preferred
• New graduates will not be considered

Additional Information

• Provide telemetry nursing care within a cardiac unit setting
• Orientation includes initial days at a separate campus followed by facility-specific and Director of Nursing training, plus virtual Epic training
• Facility is a nicotine-free environment
• Holiday coverage required for two of the following three holiday groups: Thanksgiving Day or Black Friday, Christmas Eve or Day, and New Year's Eve or Day
• Local and travel candidates accepted at the same bill rate
