Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN - Operating Room with 2+ years of OR experience, Epic proficiency, and ortho experience for a 13-week assignment.
Details
- Surgical Services department within a hospital setting
- 12-hour day shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM, 3 days per week
- Call responsibilities of 25-30 hours per 6-week period
- Weekend rotation required approximately once every 10 weeks
- Uses Epic EMR system
Requirements
- Active KY or Compact RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Orthopedic surgery experience required
- Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required
Additional Information
- Perform patient assessments and reassessments according to policy and clinical condition
- Develop, implement, and revise individualized plans of care in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
- Monitor and document patient responses to clinical interventions
- Provide patient and family education throughout care and at discharge
- Delegate tasks to licensed and non-licensed staff while mentoring and precepting team members
- Participate in quality, safety, and service process improvement initiatives
- Comply with regulatory standards and practice governance models
