Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring BLS, ACLS, and a TX or compact RN license.

Details

Hospital-based IMC Med/Surg unit position
13-week assignment on night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Full-time schedule

Requirements

Active RN license (TX or compact)
Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA only)
1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred
BSN preferred

Additional Information

Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
Administer medications and treatments while monitoring for side effects and effectiveness
Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided
Assess learning needs and provide education to patients and families
Complete annual competency verification requirements
Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius to be considered local
Returning employees who previously worked at a CHRISTUS facility must have a 6-month separation before starting a new travel assignment
