Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Intermediate Care Unit position requiring a CO or compact RN license and at least 1 year of specialty experience.

Details

• Intermediate Care Unit setting within a hospital
• 3x 12-hour day shifts per week, 0700-1930
• May be required to float to other departments based on business need and within scope of competency
• May be required to take on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• Active RN license (Single State or Compact), CO or compact license required
• BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certification required, must not expire prior to start
• NIHSS certification required
• TNCC certification preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the specialty required
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient nursing care
• Provide health teaching, counseling, and therapeutic treatment to patients
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Refer patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed
• Former Intermountain permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for this assignment
