Description
American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a Level II Trauma Center night shift position requiring ACLS, BLS, and NRP or STABLE certifications.
Details
- Level II Trauma Center with 383 beds
- Respiratory Therapy department
- Uses Servo I, GE, V60, Airvo, and Vapotherm equipment
- Meditech EMR
- Night shift, 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
- 13-week assignment
- Works every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital staff
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience required
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- NRP or STABLE certification required
- ACLS required for Respiratory Therapists
- NRP Advanced 9th Edition required for Respiratory Therapy staff caring for neonates
- PALS may be required if noted
- ICU experience preferred
- 2+ years of experience preferred
- Meditech experience preferred
- License required if applicable
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

- Grey scrub color for Respiratory Therapy staff
- 50-mile radius rule applies; local candidates not accepted
- US SSN and DOB required for consideration
- Florida requires two professional references
