Description

American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift MRI Technologist with 2+ years of current MRI experience and ARRT (MR) certification for a teaching hospital's Radiology department.

Details

• Work in the Radiology department of a 298-bed teaching hospital offering 24-hour diagnostic imaging services
• 8-hour night shifts from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 40 hours per week
• Approximately 9 patients per shift
• Always paired with another Tech Aide or MRI Tech, never working solo
• After midnight, department coverage is handled by on-call staff
• Uses GE HDXT 16.0 and 23.0 equipment
• Weekend and holiday coverage required as needed
• Possible on-call requirements
• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of current MRI experience required
• ARRT (MR) certification required
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• GE equipment experience required
• Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred
• Must have own vehicle
• License required if applicable
• Compact license not accepted
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered
• Supervisory signed reference from within the past two years required

Additional Information

• 26-week assignment
• 8 hours of non-billable orientation required
• Candidates must disclose all requested time off at the time of submission, as RTO requests after offer will not be approved
• No more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted for the duration of the assignment
• Not all holidays may be taken off; must work one full holiday block (Christmas Eve through the weekend after New Year's Day) if scheduled
• First-time travelers may be considered
