Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an Acute Care Hospital setting, requiring one year of recent acute care/rehab experience and current PT licensure.
Details
- Acute Care/Inpatient PT setting
- 5x8 Day shift schedule, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Tuesday through Saturday
- 13-week assignment length
Requirements
- Minimum one year of recent experience in Acute Care/Rehab
- Experience with surgical patients, total joint and neuro cases required
- Experience with patient/family education and home exercise programs required
- Current PT license required if applicable
- BLS certification via AHA required
- Must have Florida or Compact license in hand prior to consideration
- Successful completion of a Florida AHCA Level 2 background screening required, including fingerprint-based state and federal criminal history checks and abuse registry review

- Local candidates considered within a 60-mile radius at a lower rate
- Permanent employees must be separated from the facility for 1 year before returning as a traveler
