Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for Labor & Delivery requiring 2+ years of LD experience, BLS, ACLS, NRP, EFM certifications, and Epic experience.
Details
- Labor and Delivery unit setting
- Night shift from 645p-715a, working every other weekend
- 36 hours per week across 3 shifts at 12 hours per day
- Epic EMR experience required
Requirements
- Active RN license (IN or compact) required
- BLS, ACLS, NRP, and EFM certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience required
- Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience required
- Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required
- Epic EMR experience required
Additional Information
- Provide safe, effective patient and family-centered care with a focus on quality outcomes
- Assess, develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care
- Supervise licensed and non-licensed staff members
- Serve as a mentor/preceptor and encourage teamwork among staff
- Facilitate patient and family education specific to care, treatment, and discharge needs
- Participate in quality, safety, and service process improvement efforts
- Comply with regulatory standards and participate in practice governance model
- Promote a safe, clean, and secure environment for patients and staff
