Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience performing both CT and X-Ray procedures in an outpatient and ED setting, open to first-time travelers.

Details

• Night shift 3x12 hours, 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, Friday through Sunday
• Outpatient (Adult & Peds) and Emergency Department patient population
• May be asked to float to other facilities or campuses as needed
• CT procedures include Abdomen, Pelvis, Head/Neck, Chest, Spine, Brain Perfusion, CTAs, and Multiplanar Reconstruction
• X-Ray procedures include Extremities, Abdomen/GI, Spine/Pelvis, Head, Chest/Thorax, Musculoskeletal, and Upper/Lower Extremities
• ED exams include Outpatient CT/X-Ray, Cardiac CT (Pulmonary Vein CT, Cardiac Calcium Scores), and Perfusion studies
• Uses GE and Siemens equipment, PACS, and portables
• Charting via Epic EMR

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• ARRT (CT), ARRT (R), and BLS certification required
• License required if applicable
• Outpatient (Adult & Peds) and ED experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Experience with PACS and portables, GE and Siemens equipment required
• Samsung X-Ray experience preferred
• Experience with infants and pediatric patients preferred
• Must be able to start IVs, performing approximately 8-9 per day
• Proficiency in image display and post-processing including 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and ROI measurement
• Experience with contrast media preparation and administration, radiation safety, and venipuncture

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility, with no local rates applying within that radius
• All RNs, regardless of specialty, must pass a compliance EKG exam with up to two attempts allowed
• RTO must be submitted at the time of application; no post-submission RTO requests accepted
• Role involves performing a wide range of CT and X-Ray exams across adult and pediatric patient populations in acute care and outpatient settings
