Description
American Traveler is hiring an X-Ray Technologist with 2+ years experience and ARRT(R) certification for a community hospital setting.
Details
- 3x12 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday coverage
- Work across adult acute care, outpatient, emergency department, ICU, operating room, and bedside/portable settings
- Uses Meditech Expanse EMR, GE equipment, and PACS system
- Potential to float within clinical scope to meet facility needs
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an X-Ray Technologist
- ARRT(R) and BLS certification required
- IDOH state license required, license required if applicable
- Meditech charting experience preferred
- Community hospital experience preferred
- Proficiency with abdomen, upper/lower extremity, spine, pelvis, chest, and head imaging
- Experience with fluoroscopy studies, trauma cases, and mobile/surgical procedures including C-arm
- Skilled in infection prevention, isolation precautions/PPE, radiation safety, and contrast media preparation/administration
- Peripheral IV starting skills preferred
Additional Information
- Candidates must provide a copy of their driver's license for consideration
- Local candidates accepted within an 80-mile radius at local rate
- First-time travelers considered depending on experience level
- Call-outs restricted to no more than one week
