Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg RN for a 12-hour day shift role on an Acute Medicine Unit, requiring at least 2 years of recent specialty experience.
Details
- Acute Medicine Unit setting within a hospital
- Medical/Surgical patient population
- 12-hour day shift schedule, 7AM-7PM
- 3 shifts per week with 36 guaranteed hours weekly
- No on-call requirements
Requirements
- Active GA or Compact RN license required
- AHA BLS certification required
- ACLS certification preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Med/Surg specialty required
Additional Information
- Must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Former permanent staff returning as travelers must have at least a 2-year break in service
- RTO must be requested upfront prior to offer and cannot be requested afterward
