Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 1+ years of experience to perform a wide range of CT imaging studies in a busy community hospital setting.

Details

Busy community hospital with two primary CT scanners performing roughly 40-60+ scans per day
Mix of inpatient, outpatient, and ER patient volume
Adult acute care, adult outpatient, and emergency department settings
3x12 hour day shifts, Friday, Saturday, Sunday 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM
Uses Siemens equipment and PACS system

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year of CT Tech experience required
ARRT (R) and BLS certification required
NJ State or Compact Radiologic Technologist license required if applicable, and must be in hand at time of submittal
Epic charting experience preferred
Experience with abdomen and pelvis, colorectal, enterography, and IVP studies
Experience with head and neck, spine, musculoskeletal, and chest CT imaging
Experience with special procedures including aspirations, biopsies, brain perfusion, coronary CTA, CT arthrography, drainage, and myelography
Experience with vascular chest imaging including PE, CTA, and aorta studies
Skilled in preparation and administration of contrast media
Skilled in starting peripheral IVs

Additional Information

Unit accepts first-time travelers
50-mile radius rule applies; local candidates not accepted
Former staff must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler
All requested RTO must be listed at time of submittal
