Description
American Traveler is hiring an Emergency Department RN for a night shift assignment at an acute care hospital, requiring Epic experience and CA RN licensure.
Details
- Emergency Department setting within a 212-bed acute care hospital
- Patient ratio of 1:4
- Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 7:00 PM-7:30 AM)
- Weekend coverage required every other weekend, with potential for additional weekends based on unit needs
- No call requirements
- No floating required
- Navy blue scrubs required for RNs
- Epic EMR used for charting
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS
- Minimum 1 year of ER experience required
- Community hospital experience preferred
- Pending licenses not accepted
Additional Information
- Must be open to working 3 of 5 major holidays
- Facility may call off shifts once per two-week pay period
- RTO must be submitted and included at time of consideration
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must live more than 50 miles from the facility
- Local candidates may be considered within a 50-mile radius
- Free parking available on site
