Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a Level 1 trauma acute care hospital, requiring 2+ years of experience and ARRT (CT) certification.

Details

• Level 1 trauma acute care setting in the CT/Radiology department
• Department has 5 CT scanners/rooms
• Average of 25 scans/studies per day
• Performs a wide variety of imaging studies
• May float to outpatient areas and potentially within the regional float zone if needed
• Uses GE and Siemens equipment, with Epic EMR and Fuji Synapse PACS
• 4x10 day shifts, Tuesday through Friday
• Weekend and holiday coverage required
• No call or standby requirements

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• ARRT (CT) certification required
• License required if applicable
• GE and Siemens equipment experience preferred
• Must be able to start IVs
• Driver's license copy required for consideration

Additional Information

• Radiologist available in-house
• Works under a Radiology Supervisor/Lead Tech structure
• RRAs are not utilized in this department
• Black scrubs required and provided
• Department-specific orientation provided
• Must be in-state for the week of orientation, even if initial modules are remote
• Facility may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment (3 shifts for assignments shorter than 13 weeks)
• Candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility
• May be required to float within the designated zone and should plan housing accordingly
