Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a CA RN license and EPIC experience.

Details

• Work in the Emergency Department of an acute care hospital
• Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with 36 or 48-hour weekly options
• EPIC experience required

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• BSN preferred
• Acute care facility experience preferred
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from an approved vendor required
• Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM), TEAM-A, or Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Minimum three years of recent experience in the ER specialty required
• No prior disciplinary action on license allowed

Additional Information

• Deliver coordinated nursing care to assigned patients following established standards and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct various levels of nursing staff and coordinate care across disciplines
• Collect and analyze patient data to determine diagnoses and care plans, implement interventions, and evaluate outcomes
• Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure safe, humane, and effective care
• Participate in discharge planning to support continuity of care
• Provide patient and family education on health information
• All required vaccinations must be completed as a condition of employment
• Holiday RTO will not be approved
• Candidates with more than 5 days of RTO will be automatically declined
• Accepts local candidates with no radius rule; local rates match travel rates
