Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring a minimum of 5 years of high-risk L&D experience and prior travel experience.
Details
- Work in the OB/GYN unit, which includes 12 postpartum rooms, 4 swing/antepartum rooms, 5 labor rooms, 4 triage rooms, and 2 operating rooms
- 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- Every third weekend required
- Patient ratios: 1:3 on Labor and Delivery, 1:3 antepartum, and 1:6 mother/baby couplet
- EMR: Epic
- Medication system: Pyxis
- May be required to float within 30 miles of the facility based on clinical competence
Requirements
- Active CT or Compact RN license required
- Certifications required: NRP, ACLS, BLS, and Fetal Monitoring
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in high-risk Labor & Delivery required
- Prior OB experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
Additional Information
- Unit provides scrubs
- Accepts local candidates
- Local rate applies within a 75-mile radius
- Radius rate applies based on distance from the facility
- May be included in mandatory overtime rotation to ensure unit coverage
