Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Mother/Baby position requiring TN or compact RN licensure and prior travel nursing experience.

Details

Hospital setting in a 270-bed facility with a 24-bed Mother/Baby unit
12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, 36 hours per week
No block schedules offered; must be flexible to meet unit staffing needs
Weekends required; no on-call requirements
May float as helping hands to NICU and L&D
Uses Cerner and GE Centricity EMR systems

Requirements

Active RN license (TN or Compact) required at time of consideration
Current BLS and NRP certifications required; ACLS preferred
Minimum of 2 years of Mother/Baby nursing experience required
Prior travel nursing experience required
Experience with newborn transition care required

Additional Information

Must be available to work 2 of 3 designated holidays
Orientation available only on 11/16, 11/30, or 12/14 with no other start dates offered
Local candidates accepted at a lower rate within a 75-mile radius
