Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Cath Lab / EP Technologist with recent EP experience and PICC experience for a travel assignment at a Level II trauma center.
Details
- Cardiac Cath Lab unit with 5 beds and a staff of 25
- Patient ratio of 1:1
- Equipment includes X-ray, PACS, Mac Lab, iStat, and Avox
- Cerner EMR used
- Day shift schedule of 4x10 hour shifts per week
- On-call required every 5th weekend from 7:00 AM Saturday to 7:00 AM Monday
- No floating required
- Procedures include diagnostic and interventional heart catheterizations and structural heart procedures
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience in Cardiac Cath Lab required
- At least 1 recent year of EP experience required
- PICC experience required
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- RCIS or ARRT certification required for Tech positions (license required if applicable)
- US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
- One professional reference required (two required for Florida and Missouri candidates)
- No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Work in a Level II trauma center with a comprehensive stroke center and busy robotic surgery program
- Facility offers the region's only open heart and interventional cardiology services
- Surgical green scrub color required
- Candidates must live outside a 50 mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
