Description
American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer for an evening shift assignment requiring an ARDMS registry and 1+ years of experience.
Details
- Sonography/Ultrasound department performing diagnostic sonograms for radiologist interpretation
- Assist radiologist in performance of interventional ultrasound-guided procedures
- Evening shift 5x8, Monday through Friday, 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM
- No call, no weekends, no holidays required
- Uses EPIC EMR
Requirements
- Must hold at least 1 applicable ARDMS registry (abdomen certification preferred)
- License required if applicable
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in sonography
- Graduate of an accredited school of sonography with completed required clinical hours
- Flu vaccination or Mercy-approved exemption required for all travelers from November 1 to April 1
Additional Information
- Provide patient care consistent with Mercy's mission, values, and service standards
- Black scrub color required
- Up to 5 days of requested time off allowed, must be made up during the assignment
- Local candidates accepted at a reduced bill rate
- Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are limited to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts before requiring a 1-year separation or transfer to a facility outside the radius
