Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring OH or compact licensure and strip interpretation skills.

Details

Acute care setting on a 24-bed Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit
Patient ratio of 1:5, up to 1:6 during high census
Day shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week
Requires every other weekend work
Requires every other holiday coverage
Uses TruBridge - Evident EMR charting system

Requirements

Active OH or compact RN license required
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
Must be able to read and interpret telemetry strips, verified via in-person test on first day

Additional Information

Provide direct patient care on a busy Medical-Surgical Telemetry floor
First-day competency test required to assess telemetry strip interpretation skills
