Description
American Traveler is hiring a Perinatal RN Manager with at least 3 years of perinatal nursing experience and NRP, FHM, and STABLE certifications for a 13-week leadership assignment.
Details
- Perinatal unit setting focused on labor and delivery and obstetric nursing
- 5 x 8-hour shift schedule
- 13-week assignment length
Requirements
- Active or compact RN license valid in Colorado required prior to start
- Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN or MSN preferred
- BLS certification required (may be obtained upon hire)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program Advanced Provider) certification required
- AWHONN Fetal Heart Monitoring Intermediate (FHM) certification required
- STABLE Program Learner certification required
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Perinatal RN required
- 2+ years of nursing leadership experience preferred
- EPIC EMR experience preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
Additional Information
- Oversee perinatal nursing operations and staff in a leadership capacity
- Must be able to safely function in a low oxygen, high elevation environment (approximately 8,000 ft)
- No RTO (requested time off) accommodated during this assignment
- Travelers are responsible for arranging their own housing, with higher costs common in the surrounding mountain communities
