Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ICU position requiring 2+ years of critical care experience and a WI or compact RN license.
Details
- Critical Care ICU unit setting
- Shift schedule from 07:00-19:30 with every other weekend and every other holiday required
- Accepts contract lengths from 13 to 26 weeks
- May float within skill set to Neuro ICU and Burn ICU, and may receive Med/Surg/IMC patient assignments if needed
- May be required to float onsite or to sites within 40 miles if needed
- Uses EPIC EMR
Requirements
- Active WI or compact RN license required
- Current certifications: BLS and ACLS (must be AHA)
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
- CVICU and Neuro ICU experience preferred but not required
- Travel nursing experience preferred
- Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
Additional Information
- Provide critical care nursing to ICU patients, with flexibility to float to other specialty units as needed
- Radius rule applies which may affect local candidate pay rate
- First time travelers are welcome to apply
