Description
American Traveler is hiring a Tele Float RN for an acute care teaching hospital requiring 2 years of telemetry experience and MN RN licensure.
Details
- Acute care teaching hospital, Level 3 trauma center
- Telemetry/Med-Surg float position
- Patient ratio of 1:5
- Day (7a-7:30p) or Night (7p-7:30a) 4x12 rotating shifts
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call requirements
- Will float within scope to meet facility needs, including to affiliate hospitals nearby
- Epic (Excellian) EMR experience required
Requirements
- Active or pending MN RN license
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in specialty
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Epic/Excellian charting experience required
- 1 supervisor reference required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provide telemetry-level nursing care with ability to float to med/surg as needed
- Navy blue scrub color required
- Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- Returning staff must have been separated from perm employment (staff or per diem) for at least 3 months prior to starting
- RTO requests ideally limited to no more than 5 days
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
