Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a weekend diagnostic imaging role requiring ARRT certification and BLS.

Details

Diagnostic imaging department performing CT and X-Ray procedures
Patient population ranges from neonatal to geriatric
4x10 hour shifts, Friday through Sunday, 40 hours guaranteed
Up to 36 hours of call-off possible per 13-week assignment

Requirements

Current BLS and ARRT certification required
Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
Active state license required if applicable
At least one advanced modality license with ARRT required
2+ years experience in CT or X-Ray preferred
Venipuncture experience preferred

Additional Information

Perform CT and X-Ray exams according to protocol and age-specific needs under radiologist supervision
Review patient charts for missed clinical information and screen for surgical implants and allergies
Coordinate scan protocols with radiologist and serve as a clinical resource for other technologists
Maintain sterile technique and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout exams
Candidates must reside outside a 120 mile radius of the facility
