Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab RN with Cerner charting experience and at least 2 years of cardiac catheterization lab experience for a busy acute care unit.

Details

• Acute care setting within a Cardiac Cath Lab unit
• High-volume lab performing 15-20 procedures per day
• Procedures include peripheral vascular intervention, cardiac intervention, and cardiac rhythm management including EP
• Uses Cerner EMR for charting
• Four 10-hour day shifts, 6a-4:30p when not on call
• On-call shifts run 8a-6:30p when scheduled, approximately 1-2x per week
• Required to take STEMI call on a rotating basis approximately every 4th weekend
• Schedule follows a six-week rotation with rotating days off and a built-in four-day weekend

Requirements

• Active RN license (Indiana or Compact) required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required
• Cerner EMR experience required
• EP experience preferred but not required

Additional Information

• Perform a wide variety of cardiac and vascular catheterization procedures
• Structural heart procedures are performed in the unit but experience in this area is not required
• Previous travel nursing experience highly preferred
• Flexibility to help cover additional call shifts as needed is expected
• Candidates residing less than 50 miles from the facility are not accepted for this position
