Description
American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift acute care position requiring at least 1 year of experience and a compact or IN RN license.
Details
- Acute care Med/Surg unit (4EA) with 32 beds and remote telemetry monitoring
- Telemetry monitored 24/7 and only applied when ordered
- Patient population includes stable vent patients, BiPAP patients, acute/chronic renal failure, dialysis, fluid overload, and general medical/surgical cases under internal medicine, family practice, and hospitalist overflow services
- Administers IV drips including non-titrated Dopamine for renal perfusion and Heparin
- Uses Cerner EMR
- Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
Requirements
- Active RN license (IN or Compact) required
- BLS certification required, ACLS preferred
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
- BSN not required
Additional Information
- Provides direct care to medically complex and renal patients within a telemetry-capable Med/Surg unit
- Collaborates with internal medicine, family practice, and hospitalist teams
- Local candidates accepted only if residing 50+ miles from the facility, with reduced bill rate for those within 50-100 miles
