Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 3+ years experience and ARRT(CT) certification to perform CT procedures across multiple locations.
Details
- Work split between a Milford location and the main hospital campus in Nashua
- Monday, Thursday, and Friday shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM at the Milford location
- Saturday shifts from 10:30 AM to 9:00 PM at the main hospital campus
- Perform diagnostic CT procedures including interventional cases, CT Angiography, and advanced 3D reconstruction
- Administer IV, oral, and rectal contrast per department protocol
- Use Epic EMR and PACS system, McKesson Change Healthcare preferred
- GE and Siemens CT scan software knowledge preferred
- Minimal holiday and backup call requirements
- Flexible availability needed to support 24/7 department coverage
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of CT Scan experience required
- Current ARRT(CT) certification required
- ARRT CT Registry eligible preferred
- Current BLS certification required
- NH Imaging License required if applicable
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- Ability to lift/carry up to 35 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach throughout shifts
Additional Information
- Perform CT scans under the direction of a Radiologist and CT Supervisor, applying department protocols independently in a fast-paced environment
- Assist radiologists during interventional procedures
- Review IV Contrast Questionnaires with patients prior to contrast administration
- Coordinate daily workload by scheduling inpatients and prioritizing emergency department patients alongside outpatient schedules
- Review exams in PACS for completeness before submission to radiologist
- Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked work areas including light cleaning and laundry duties
- Follow facility dress code and maintain HIPAA compliance
- Complete mandatory learning, competencies, and CEUs as required
- Arrive on time and prepared for all assigned shifts, including on-call, holiday, and weekend coverage
