Description
American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for Labor and Delivery requiring an active IN or compact RN license and 2 years of L&D experience in a high-acuity perinatal unit.
Details
- Level 3 Perinatal Center averaging 250+ deliveries per month
- 15-bed Labor and Delivery unit
- 1:1 patient ratio
- Care for obstetrical patients with needs including PPROM, SROM, rule out labor, IOL, cesarean delivery, pre-eclampsia, and antepartum concerns
- Uses Cerner EMR
- Night shift, 4x12's, Monday-Thursday 7:00 PM-7:30 AM
- No on-call requirements
- No floating required
- Block scheduling available as an option
Requirements
- Active RN license (IN or Compact)
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NRP
- 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery experience required
- Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Provide bedside RN care to a fast-paced, high-acuity L&D unit
- 2-shift orientation provided
- Hospital-issued scrubs required
- Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
- RTO requests must be less than 1 week
- Not eligible if previously employed as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years
