Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring at least 2 years of OR experience and WI or compact RN licensure.
Details
- Operating Room setting within a hospital environment
- Rotating 4x10-hour shifts, 0700-1730, flexible based on OR volumes
- Call requirements rotate weekdays and weekends based on department needs
- Holiday call hours rotate with regular staff
- May require floating within skill set or to sites within 40 miles, though rarely needed
- Contract lengths of 13 to 26 weeks accepted
Requirements
- Active WI or compact RN license required
- Current BLS certification (AHA) required
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience required
- Robotic surgery experience preferred
- Scrub nurse experience preferred
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred
- Epic EMR experience required
- Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
Additional Information
- Provide direct surgical nursing care within the OR department
- Must have a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
- Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate depending on distance from facility
- Travelers should discuss assignment extensions with management at least 45 days before the end date
