Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for night shift coverage, requiring ARRT CT certification and at least 1 year of experience in a hospital setting.

Details

• CT Tech unit within Radiology/Cardiology department
• Night shift, 3x12 hours, 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, Friday-Sunday
• Covers ED patients and inpatients with no scheduled outpatients during shift
• Tech works alone after midnight
• May be required to float within the hospital based on patient care needs
• Uses GE and Siemens equipment with PACS imaging system

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of CT experience in a hospital setting required
• ARRT CT certification required
• BLS certification required
• WA Radiological Technologist license required if applicable
• EPIC charting experience required
• Skilled in image display and post-processing, including 3D rendering (MIP, surface shaded displays, volume rendering)
• Experience performing abdomen, pelvis, head, neck, spine, musculoskeletal, and chest CT studies with and without contrast
• Experience with vascular chest imaging (e.g., PE studies, CTA, aorta)
• Proficient in isolation precautions/PPE, contrast media preparation and administration, and peripheral IV starts
• Level I and Level II Trauma Center experience preferred

Additional Information

• Will consider first-time travelers with at least 1 year of hospital CT experience
• Local travelers accepted at the same rate as non-local travelers
• Travel pairs accepted
• Former staff must be separated from the facility/system for at least 1 year before being considered for rehire as a traveler
• Maximum of 5 days RTO permitted per assignment
• Required orientation modules completed and signed off by facility managers
