Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 1-2 years of current experience and ARRT CT certification for an evening shift assignment.

Details

• 13-week assignment with evening shift, 4x10 hours from 1:00 PM to 11:30 PM
• Facility operates GE Revolution EVO and GE Lightspeed VCT CT units
• Patient population includes adult acute care and emergency department cases
• Procedures include abdomen and pelvis, chest, cervical and lumbar spine, head and neck imaging with and without contrast
• Utilizes multiplanar reconstruction (MRP) and image post-processing techniques
• Epic EMR experience preferred with a test-out option available
• Required to float between two facility locations for ICU/ICCU coverage and within scope for all other floating needs

Requirements

• 1-2 years of current CT experience required
• ARRT CT and BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• VA license or compact license required if applicable, must be in-hand at submission
• Experience with contrast media preparation and administration
• Experience starting peripheral IVs
• Epic charting experience preferred

Additional Information

• Perform CT imaging procedures including abdomen, pelvis, chest, spine, head and neck studies
• One reference required at submission
• Updated certification with expiration dates required for submission
• No mile radius rule for this position
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel
• No more than 10 days of RTO permitted per 13-week contract, with none preferred during the first week
• RTO requests must be finalized prior to manager review and are difficult to change after offer acceptance
• Former travelers must wait 12 months before returning to this facility, with case-by-case review considered within that timeframe
• First-time travelers not considered for this position
