Description
Become a vital part of a Winston-Salem, NC hospital as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will accurately follow physician scanning protocols, administer contrast materials, and operate CT and radiography equipment to deliver high-quality imaging for adult and pediatric patients in a Level 1 trauma, academic medical center setting.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of CT experience.
- Completion of a JRCERT-accredited radiologic technology program or equivalent.
- Current ARRT certification RT(R)(CT) required.
- BLS certification required.
- Experience performing both adult and pediatric CT and general radiography.
- Familiarity with Siemens, GE, and Canon imaging systems and mobile/portable radiography equipment preferred.
- Experience working in high-acuity, Level 1 trauma or emergency department settings preferred.
- Experience with Epic EMR preferred.
Assignment Details:
- Facility Type: Hospital.
- Shift Name: Evenings.
- Shift Details: Evenings 1300-2300.
- Schedule Cycle: 4 weeks.
- Standard Hours Per Week: 40.
- Duration: 13 week travel assignment.
- Patient Types: Adult and pediatric; trauma and stroke cases common.
- Department Size/Resources: CT – 4 scanners (adult and pediatric); imaging radiology staff present.
- Orientation: Up to 5 days departmental orientation, based on experience.
- Floating: Coverage limited to CT department – Emergency Department.
- Holiday Expectations: Travelers will work approximately 75% of facility holidays.
- Parking: Free.
- Scrub Color: Black.
