Description
Become a vital part of a hospital radiology team in Monroe, NC as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will accurately follow physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials when indicated, and expertly operate CT equipment to provide diagnostic imaging across emergency, inpatient, and outpatient settings. The department is high volume and team-focused, supporting patient-centered care.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of CT experience. (Client requirement)
- Current ARRT (R)(CT) certification. (Client requirement)
- BLS certification. (Client requirement)
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program or equivalent.
- Ability to work in a high-volume hospital setting across ED, inpatient, and outpatient areas.
- Willingness to complete department orientation of approximately 3–5 days and required online NEO courses.
- Traveler permanent address must be 50 miles outside of the hiring facility’s home unit.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Siemens and GE CT equipment.
- Experience with EPIC electronic medical record.
- Prior experience in a teaching hospital or trauma center.
Assignment Details
- Shift hours: 9:00 PM – 9:00 AM.
- Workdays: Every Thursday, Friday, Saturday.
- Standard hours per week: 36.
- Schedule cycle: every 4 weeks.
- Holiday expectation: travelers will work approximately 75% of holidays.
- Department orientation: 3–5 days depending on modality; NEO online courses required.
- Scrub color: Black. Parking: Free.

Impacting Patient Care
As a CT technologist in this role, you will support diagnostic workflows across emergency, inpatient, and outpatient departments. The position contributes to timely imaging for a 182-licensed bed teaching hospital with Trauma Level IV designation, chest pain center, and stroke center. You will collaborate with nursing and transport staff and use departmental equipment and EMR systems to deliver patient-centered care.
