Description
Become a vital part of a hospital imaging team as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will accurately follow physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and operate CT scanners for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department patients.
Minimum Requirements:
- 2+ years CT technologist experience, including independent CT operation in a hospital setting.
- Experience with Canon/Toshiba CT scanners, including 40- and 80-slice systems; prior work on an 80-slice scanner preferred.
- Experience with Medrad Stellant injector (>2 years preferred).
- EPIC charting experience.
- Current ARRT (CT registered) certification.
- Current BLS certification.
- Ability to perform peripheral IV starts for contrast injections.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills appropriate for inpatient, outpatient, and ED environments.
Assignment Details
- Facility Type: Hospital.
- Shift Name: Nights.
- Rotation: 7 days on, 7 days off.
- Typical hours: Combination of 20:30–06:30 and 19:00–07:00 shifts across the rotation.
- Patient types: Inpatient, Outpatient, Emergency Department.
- Patient ratio: 1:1 clinical coverage.
- Orientation: At least one shift to learn unit flow.
- Must be able to work independently in CT with X-ray tech support and transport patients to/from exams.

About the Role
This CT technologist position supports a Level IV trauma center and primary stroke center with approximately 74–80 beds. The role involves performing CT procedures across a variety of patient populations and requires adherence to hospital protocols and safety standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience specifically on Canon (Toshiba) 80-slice scanners.
- Additional certifications relevant to CT imaging.
