Opportunity:

CT Technologist - 301351073 - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM shifts in a 7/70 schedule - 40 hours one week and 30 hours the next in a 2-week period
• May work alone in the department depending on shift assignment
• Rotate through various schedule patterns including 12-hour shifts, 10-hour shifts, some 7 on 7 off, or weekend only
• Weekend requirements based on rotation schedule
• Holiday requirements depending on shift and rotation assignments
• No call or standby requirements
• Required certifications: ARRT (R), BLS (AHA), ARRT CT preferred
• Must have 2 years of CT experience and experience in a level 2 or higher trauma center
• IV insertion experience strongly preferred
• No self-scheduling or block scheduling
• Perform full range of CT scans for patients from infant through adults including trauma and stroke cases
• Cover acute care, urgent care, emergency room, and rare outpatient areas
• Average 90-100 scans per day for acute and ambulatory patients
• Work with Siemens and Toshiba 300+ slice equipment
• Use Cerner EMR and Siemens/SECTRA PACS systems
• Department orientation up to 1 week including CBTs, computer access, and floor training
• Must clock in and out at facility
• No assigned scrub color and scrubs are not provided

Facility:

This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive CT department with 5 scanners across multiple locations, including 2 rooms by the emergency department and 3 on the clinic side. The facility maintains level 2 trauma center status and provides radiologist coverage from 8 AM to 10 PM with remote coverage overnight. The department utilizes modern Siemens and Toshiba 300+ slice equipment and maintains high patient volume with both acute and ambulatory services.
