Description
Are you ready to take your expertise as a cardiovascular technologist to new heights. Join a hospital in Lafayette, LA as a Cath Lab Tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) and play a vital role on a team that values your expertise. Assist physicians and Cath Lab personnel in performing diagnostic tests and invasive procedures. Operate advanced imaging and monitoring equipment to capture images and hemodynamic data of the heart and blood vessels.
Minimum Qualifications
- ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist or equivalent credential required.
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) from CCI or ARRT R certification required. (Client requires ARRT R or RCIS).
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a hospital Cath Lab setting required.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- State licensure for Louisiana required.
- First-time travelers accepted.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cardiac catheterization equipment and hemodynamic monitoring preferred.
Assignment Details
- Shift hours: 08:00 - 16:30.
- Schedule: 5x8.
- Call required: 1-2 weekdays per week.
- Weekend requirement: every 3rd or 4th weekend.
- Average daily census: 30.
- May be assigned to an Emergency Team and required to remain until the event passes or serve on relief teams as directed by unit management.
